Olbermann and Dean – Lessons in Civility?

March 26th, 2009

Anybody else getting tired of Olbermann?  What a jackass.  Check out this take on his interactions with Howard Dean.

Remember when he was funny?  No, me neither.  Time for some new material Keith.

Obama’s Mob Rule

March 25th, 2009

It looks like the storming of AIG executive houses was just the beginning.  Watch for more ‘community activist’ planned events coming to YOUR street.

We need balance people, in a big way.

Another Obama Abuse of Power

March 24th, 2009

Now Obama wants the power to shut down firms that HE thinks are in trouble.  This is getting scary.  Banks.  Opposing media outlets.  Those owned by political enemies.  I’d hate to be one of those lists (crap, I probably am).

Stand up America!  Don’t let this abuse continue.

Let’s Keep Standing Up

March 22nd, 2009

Bravo, Senator Gregg for saying what needs to be said.

A call to all Americans.  We need dissenting voices in Washington.  We can not have inexperienced leaders mortgaging our children’s future in the name of ‘doing the right thing’.  We NEED leaders that stand up to Obama, Pelosi and Reed.  We need a BALANCE of power, not a one sided steamroller.

Get on the bus, folks.  Dissenting voices aren’t going to elect themselves.  Get involved TODAY.

I wish I had time to Bowl.

March 20th, 2009

Mr. President. I wish I had time to bowl, but I am simply too busy trying to provide for my family. Perhaps if I weren’t paying so much in taxes….

Oh, and for the record – your Special Olympics joke was deplorable.

Taking Back Bonuses is a Death Sentence

March 19th, 2009

Put yourself in this position.  You have been asked to stay behind and bail out (poor choice of words these days) a sinking ship.  Very possibly, this ship will sink and you will be out of a job.

But the captain wants you to stay.  You are a smart individual with a great knowledge of the inner workings of the vessel.  If it can be saved, you are the once who can do it.

For your sacrifice (the sacrifice of not jumping ship to one that is currently in a better position) you have received a contract that says some extra money will be awaiting you at some interval for as long as this boat stays afloat.  Ah, incentive.  The American way!

But now the Admiral (let’s call him Admiral Marx) comes in and says that you are unpatriotic for expecting money to keep that boat afloat.  And worse, he is going to take it away from you (or tax it at 90%).

Where is the incentive now?

The smart people in high positions at these AIG and the other banks  are EXACTLY what we need to get out of the mess we are in now.  Ignore what the enemies of capitalism are saying.
